The community has seen significant new home construction in recent years, with master-planned subdivisions of detached single-family homes and townhouses attracting young families relocating from more expensive Metro Vancouver municipalities. Albion Sports Complex and several newer schools serve the neighbourhood's growing population. 240th Street and the Golden Ears Bridge provide efficient connections to Pitt Meadows, Langley, and the South Fraser communities. Albion represents one of the newer and faster-growing segments of the Maple Ridge real estate market.
